Illinois’ Early Intervention didn’t always have intake delays

Early Intervention requires children to be evaluated within 45 days of being referred to the program. In 2018, almost no Illinois families were waiting to receive their initial evaluation, assessment or the creation of their service plan. Yet it's become a problem in recent years.
